Employee recognition campaigns your team can run again and again

Teams use Bravoboard to collect appreciation messages in one shared place instead of chasing shout-outs across email, Slack, spreadsheets, or last-minute reminder threads. Create a board for a campaign, milestone, or team moment, invite people to contribute, and keep the experience organized with workplace-friendly controls.

Built for repeat organizers

If you organize boards often, the hard part is usually not creating the board. It is keeping contributions organized, making the next board feel familiar, and knowing where the messages are when the campaign is over.

  • Email invites and share links
  • Team Plan supports up to 15 creators
  • CSV export on paid boards
  • Required contributor info on Team Plan
  • Moderation and post approval on Team Plan
  • Custom branding and theme controls
  • Lock & Archive after the campaign

How an employee recognition campaign works

  1. Pick the moment or theme. Choose the person, team, milestone, or value you are celebrating.
  2. Create one shared Bravoboard. Set a clear title and use the description for any instructions your team expects.
  3. Share by link, QR code, or email invite. Send it through email, Slack, Teams, or your usual internal channels.
  4. Collect messages, GIFs, photos, and voice notes. Contributors can usually post without creating an account.
  5. Review posts if moderation is turned on. On Team Plan boards, post approval lets organizers review contributions before they appear.
  6. Export contributions if needed. On paid boards, download a CSV from board settings when you need a review copy or records.
  7. Lock & Archive when the campaign ends. Lock & Archive stops new posts while keeping the board viewable for people who still have the link.

Team controls for workplace recognition

Regular user-created boards are shared by unique link, excluded from public sitemaps, and include noindex instructions. Noindex is not access control. For more sensitive workplace campaigns, teams should use appropriate board controls such as password protection on eligible paid boards, invite-only posting, and moderation.

  • Up to 15 creators on Team Plan
  • Custom logo, background, and theme
  • Post approval and moderation
  • Invite-only posting where available
  • Required contributor information on Team Plan
  • Contributor opt-in on eligible Team Plan paid boards
  • CSV export on paid boards
  • Password protection on eligible paid boards

When to use Team Plan vs credits

Board credits work well for occasional paid boards and never expire. Team Plan is a better fit when multiple people create boards, teams need workplace controls, or recognition campaigns happen often. AI-Wish Composer is available on all boards, including free boards.

Frequently asked questions

What is an employee recognition campaign?
It is a focused moment where a team collects appreciation, shout-outs, or thank-you messages around a person, group, milestone, or company value. Bravoboard gives everyone one shared board to contribute to instead of spreading messages across email or chat.
Is this the same as an employee appreciation group card?
It can be. Some teams use Bravoboard like an online group card for one person, while others use it as a broader appreciation board for a department, campaign, or recurring recognition program.
Can coworkers contribute without creating accounts?
Yes. Boards can be shared by link, QR code, or email invite so coworkers can add messages without creating an account.
Can managers review posts before they appear?
On Team Plan boards, post approval can help organizers review contributions before they appear publicly on the board.
Can we collect names or emails with recognition posts?
Team Plan includes required contributor fields, so organizers can require first name, last name, or email when that information is needed for reporting, follow-up, or prize eligibility.
Can we export the messages after a campaign?
Paid boards include CSV export, which can help organizers review messages, timestamps, and available contributor details without copying posts by hand.
How do teams encourage more people to contribute?
Most organizers share the board link in the channels their team already uses, such as email, Slack, Teams, or an internal newsletter. A short prompt and a clear deadline usually help people know what to write and when to add their message.
Are employee recognition boards indexed by Google?
Regular user-created boards are excluded from public sitemaps and include noindex instructions. Official Bravoboard sample boards are public examples and may be indexed. Noindex is not the same as access control, so teams should use the appropriate sharing and board controls for their situation.
What happens when we Lock & Archive a board?
Lock & Archive stops new posts while keeping the board viewable, so organizers can close a campaign without removing the finished board.
